Mumbai is a vibrant metropolis, nestled on India's western coast along the Arabian Sea. It is an island connected by several bridges to the main land. Mumbai is the commercial and entertainment capital of India and one of its most modern yet ancient cities.

The city is renowned for its diverse culture, incredible architecture, and pulsating energy. The iconic Gateway of India, Bandra-Worli sea link, Hanging Gardens, Nehru Science Centre, Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Kanheri Caves, Film City, Chowpatty, Juhu beaches are some attractions that provide enough glimpses of Mumbai’s unique blend of old-world charm and modernity.

Connectivity : Mumbai is well connected to other parts of India and the rest of the world. Participants arriving by train may alight at Dadar, Mumbai Central, Mumbai CSMT, Kurla or Bandra Terminus. Participants travelling by flight will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Cabs are available at airports and railway stations. Delegates are advised to take prepaid cab service at airport. Anushaktinagar / BARC Colony can also be reached by local trains in the harbour line from Mumbai CSMT to Mankhurd station. Symposium venue can be reached from Mankhurd station by autorickshaw.
